I am Shannon, the handwriting behind Paper Airplanes. I adore all things lettering and look forward to helping you create something special to celebrate the big moments in life. From weddings to special gifts to everyday items, I believe nothing is too small to be celebrated.
I come from a family who loved fancy handwriting and all things proper. My grandmother (Mema to everyone who knew her) studied calligraphy and had the finest Italian hand I have ever seen. I remember being mesmerized by the beautiful items she would make, and knew I wanted to do the same someday. So, a few decades and a few thousand new pens later, here I am. It’s a treasure to pass along her legacy. When we work together, I hope you feel like part of the family.
